This last year, Rancamaya Golf and Country Club was recognized at the Asia Pacific Property Awards by receiving two significant awards: Best Golf Club in Indonesia and #1 Golf Club in Southeast Asia. Developed in the early nineties by PT Suryamas Dutamakmur, the master plan for the project was developed as a joint effort between Robinson Golf and John Chapman of Chapman Land Planning in Newport Beach.
Located in the city of Bogor, about 45 minutes outsides of Jakarta in West Java, Indonesia, Rancamaya sits at the foot of Mt. Salak (Silver Mountain) a dormant volcano which dominates the view. At just over 6800 yards in length, the course offers a beautiful and challenging test over it’s gently rolling topography.
Rancamaya has done a wonderful job in all phases of the development and operation of the club. It’s very nice to see them recognized for their efforts.
